Responsibilities
Strategic & Departmental Leadership
- Overseeing Markono Logistics, setting departmental goals, objectives, and resourcing plans
- Develop and implement strategic logistics initiatives aligned with Markono Group’s business objectives
- Lead the planning and execution of logistics strategies for new account setups - developing operational flows, coordinating with Sales, Business Development, and IT for required system integrations or enhancement
- Manage P&L performance, ensuring margins and expenses align with revenue goals in the financial plan

Operational Excellence
- Drive effective warehouse management processes and systems by establishing new operating standards and ensuring compliance

- Investigate and resolve warehousing-related issues, identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, and implement process improvement
- Authorise and maintain Quality/Operations Procedures, Work Instructions (WIs), and relevant records to uphold system integrity and audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant management systems, including Quality Management System, FSC CoC Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Drive operational transformation through automation, digitalisation, and process innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance data visibility, system integration, and throughput performance
- Continuously review and optimise logistics workflows to improve productivity, service quality, and customer experience
Customer & Business Development
- Leverage knowledge of customers’ businesses to identify new business development opportunities for Markono Logistic
- Participate in customer meetings and regular business reviews to share performance updates, productivity insights, and improvement plans
People Leadership & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline
- Identify individual and team skill gaps, and implement training and development programmes to strengthen capability
- Hold team members accountable to established performance levels and department goal
- Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and service excellence
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering and Facilities management
- ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Basic computer literacy
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal parties and external vendors

At least 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale logistics or warehousing operation

About the Role
As a Principal Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority and strategic leader driving equipment reliability, automation, and operational excellence across our production facilities.
You will lead complex troubleshooting, spearhead improvement projects, and mentor a high-performing maintenance team to world-class standards. You will also serve as the sign-off authority for major technical assessments, maintenance validations, and engineering modifications.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Complex Troubleshooting
- Act as the final point of technical escalation for complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues across printing presses, bindery lines, digital printers, and auxiliary systems
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions to eliminate recurring failures
- Interpret and troubleshoot from advanced electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and mechanical drawings with precision and speed
- Lead troubleshooting and repair strategies that balance equipment uptime, cost efficiency, and long-term reliability
Vendor Management
- Lead technical engagements with OEMs and vendor service engineers during equipment breakdowns, installations, and major upgrades
- Evaluate and challenge vendor recommendations using data-driven analysis, ensuring solutions are technically sound and cost-effective
- Validate the quality, completeness, and sustainability of vendor-delivered work
- Drive strategic vendor partnerships to continuously improve equipment reliability and support innovation
Engineering Leadership & Strategy
- Drive continuous improvement and capital projects that enhance machine reliability, automation, and performance
- Provide technical mentorship and on-the-job guidance to engineers and technicians, uplifting the team’s overall competency
- Serve as the engineering sign-off authority for technical assessments, design changes, machine modifications, and project completion validations
- Contribute to the long-term maintenance strategy, aligning engineering initiatives with production and business goals
Predictive & Preventive Maintenance Excellence
- Deploy predictive technologies (e.g. vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasonic inspection) to proactively prevent failures
- Analyse performance data to refine maintenance strategies, intervals, and spare parts optimisation
- Ensure best-in-class preventive maintenance practices aligned with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets
Project Engineering & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or support capital and improvement projects from design to commissioning — including automation, machine upgrades, and system retrofits
- Identify engineering solutions to eliminate bottlenecks, improve OEE, and reduce waste and downtime
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed lean and digital maintenance practices across operations
Safety & Compliance
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring all activities meet company and statutory safety standards
- Lead risk assessments, equipment safety validations, and compliance audits
- Serve as sign-off authority for safety validations and engineering control changes, ensuring full compliance with safety and engineering integrity standards
- Drive safe design principles in all maintenance and project activities
Knowledge Sharing & Capability Building
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians through structured development plans
- Develop and conduct technical training programmes to build deep domain expertise within the team
- Maintain and enhance technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories for long-term learning continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in maintenance engineering or equipment reliability roles, preferably in high-speed manufacturing or printing environments
- Proven expertise in PLC systems, motion controls, automation, and complex troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience as a sign-off or approving authority for engineering changes, maintenance validations, or capital project completion
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Certified in Predictive Maintenance, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies (advantageous)

About the Role
A Procurement Manager oversees the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. They develop procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Continuously assess customer satisfaction levels for assigned accounts through surveys, calls, or meetings.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with the products and services provided by gathering regular feedback.

- Work alongside the Quality Department to ensure the goods meet the required quality standards before delivery.
- Ensure close collaboration with the operations team to guarantee that products are delivered on time and according to the established schedule.
- Handle the preparation of shipping documents, ensuring all details are accurate.
- Coordinate with internal teams or third-party forwarders to facilitate smooth logistics and timely delivery.
- Prepare accurate and complete invoices for the finance department to ensure proper customer invoicing.
- Verify all billing details to avoid errors and delays.
- Create and issue quotations based on customer requirements, including pricing, product specifications, and delivery terms.
- Ensure the accuracy of quotations by verifying customer details, product specifications, and unit prices.
- Negotiate and amend quotations in coordination with sales, operations, and customers to meet their needs while ensuring company profitability.
- Follow up with customers to address any queries related to quotations and ensure timely decision-making.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by immediate manager, when required.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE “O” levels qualification or higher.
- 2 years of work experience in order processing or customer service position will be preferred
- Familiarity with logistics, shipping documentation and invoicing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated avility in problem-solving and handling customer issues effectively
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in order and invoice processing
- Able to work independently while being an effective team player.

- Identify and retrieval of raw materials (paper, ink, chemical, consumables, etc)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in offset printing.
- At least 1 year of experience working as an Assistant Printer or in similar capacity.
- Hands-on experience in operating or assisting with offset printing processess.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule (2 weeks day shift, followed by 2 weeks night shift).

Responsibilities
- Manage daily routines duties in operating Digital Printing Machines and/or Binding Machines
- To continuing improve the productivity of the printers or finishing machines mentioned by reducing the down time on change over & trouble-shooting and etc
- To perform basic troubleshooting and carry out basic maintenance on the printers and finishing machines
- Control wastage, and ensure production quantity and quality
- To ensure proper line clearance upon completion of jobs
- Understand Material Safety Data Sheet to ensure proper & safe handling and usage of chemicals
- To carry out housekeeping at the end of every shift
- To carry out tasks assigned by immediate leader/supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in fast-paced enviroment.
- Able to perform tasks that may involve reptitive motions.
- Able to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
