Responsibilities

Collaborate with the senior management team to define and execute the company’s overall purchasing strategy, including materials demand forecasting and cost estimation

Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes that support business objectives, ensuring alignment with operational requirements for price, quality, and delivery

Lead the end-to-end procurement function to drive value creation, mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver measurable cost savings in line with business goals

Maintain up-to-date market intelligence, including insights into vendor capabilities, strategies, and emerging market trends

Influence and advise internal stakeholders on the selection of direct materials that enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver added value to customers

Build and manage a robust vendor base, nurturing supplier relationships and establishing a structured evaluation and selection process to ensure performance and compliance

Develop and execute effective negotiation strategies with vendors to secure competitive pricing, ensure adherence to quality standards, and meet delivery expectations

Proactively communicate market changes and their potential impact on supply, providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders

Recommend cost-optimisation solutions that uphold quality and service standards while supporting operational efficiency

Champion sustainable procurement practices by incorporating sustainability criteria into supplier selection and assessment processes; evaluate environmental, social, and ethical risks, and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and continuous improvement across the supply chain
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Purchasing Management with 10 years of experience or Diploma with 15 years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management

Proven experience in development of strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, vendor management, negotiation, project management and/or cost and price analysis.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholders and build client relationships.

Customer Success Executive
Booksmart is a fast-growing online bookstore headquartered in Singapore on a mission transform the way books are purchased and delivered to consumers throughout Asia. We are looking for gifted and passionate people to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Provide the best support and communication for our customers via email; Respond to questions, concerns, and feedback in a positive, concise, and empathetic manner, escalating internally when appropriate
- Track progress of customers’ orders by coordinating with internal stakeholders (Sales, Production, Distribution etc) and ensure order are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Sales team to manage deals, renewals, and expansions
- Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding customer success requirements, and be an avenue for closed-loop product feedback

Requirements

Responsibilities
- Implemented Induction & Familiarization programme
- Identify and retrieval of raw materials (paper, ink, chemical, consumables, etc)
- Understand Material Safety Data Sheet to ensure proper & safe handling and usage of chemicals
- Record the data on the daily Job Completion report and identify the printed sheets by label/tag the pallet with job completed and quality control card
- Interpretation of work instructions with standard procedures
- Operations Functions:-
- Loading of paper
- Machines setting
- Air-setting and adjustment
- Setting spray powder unit
- Difference of single and multi colour printing
- Use of Densitormeter
- Arrangement and recording of finished work
- Machine maintenance
- Proper handling and storage of used materials
- Ensure work safety and good housekeeping
- Knowledge of quality
- Feedback and update to Supervisor or Operations Executive on problems
- To carry out tasks assigned by immediate superior
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience (Printer) , 1 year working experience (Asst.Printer) in similar capacity
- Experience in operating/assisting in operating offset printing process

Account Management Executive

Responsibilities
- Measure level of customer satisfaction in the assigned accounts
- Assist immediate manager in his/her daily functions in fulfilling customers’ requirements by co- ordinating with operation departments
- Check Customers’ Purchase Orders received against Quotations to ensure that the unit price and specification matches
- Raise job orders for all Purchase Orders and ensure relevant specifications and customer- supplied materials / unit price are in proper order
- Prepare mock-up and pre-check blueprint/colourproof and submit blueprint/colourproof approval slips for Customers’ approval
- Work with Quality Department on shipment to ensure quality goods are delivered to the customers
- Coordinate closely with operations team to ensure on-time delivery
- Prepare shipping documents and work closely with internal / Third Party Forwarder
- Prepare invoices for Finance billing
- Perform housekeeping of sample books and library
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by immediate manager, when required
Requirements
- Min “O” levels or above
- 2 years of work experience in order processing or customer service position will be preferred
- Experience in working in a Customer Service environment/ logistic / shipping document / invoicing
- Proficient in MS Excel preferred
- Meticulous in order / invoice processing
- Independent and strong Team player
- Good communication and email writing skill
- Able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Good time management

Responsibilities
- Responsible for picking / packing accuracy & timeliness
- Perform system transaction for stock movement in FG1
- Take part in Cycle Count to achieve stock accuracy
- Daily Housekeeping to maintain the warehouse in good condition
- Prepare the cargo in exportable condition

- Issuance and receipt of stocks
- Un-stuffing and stuffing of containers

Requirements
- Minimum Secondary Levels/ITE.
- Experience in operating VNA or forklift.
- 1 to 2 years of working experience in warehousing/store duties or related position exposure.
- Possess basic Computer skills and inventory data input experience.

Responsibilities
- Digital Publishing Artist : To process job accurately per specification / requirement (blueprint stage)
- Knowledge of DTP Software.
- Knowledge in Switch / Prinect workflow
- Receive the job from Supervisor and analyze the job first
- Read the job sheet and work accordingly
- Preflight the pdf using pitstop / prinect workflow.
- Checking for files errors on trim size, page extent, bind style, Signature Sequence, pagination, low resolution, text missing, fonts different, image/text close to trim, missing 3mm bleed, joining images on the pdf.
- Highlight all the files errors in the QD ( Quality Document ) form.Apply the layout base on the job sheet in Prinect and output blueprint using FujiXerox Versant 180, if required
- Output color proof using Epson 9880 upon the request from Account Management
- Do regular files back up
- To perform routine housekeeping to ensure effective work environment
- Digital Publishing Artist : To process job accurately per specification/ requirement (CTP stage)
- Receive the job bag from CTP supervisor
- Check the machine to be printed
- Run the plates in CTP machine
- The following checking needs to be done, Plate ID and screen ruling
- Once confirmed the quality of the plates is accepted, release to printing
- To perform routine housekeeping to ensure effective work environment.
- Understand Material Safety Data Sheet to ensure proper & safe handling and usage of chemicals
Requirements
- Min GCE “N” levels or equivalent certificate with 1 year of relevant experience
- Capable of performing basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with DTP and CTP software's and proficiency in reading and communicating in simple English
